Client

Сafé+co Delikomat Sp. z o.o. is an established provider of B2B vending and workplace refreshment solutions in Poland. The company supplies and services vending machines for coffee, beverages, snacks, and food, as well as professional coffee machines. With a nationwide presence and a large customer base, it manages several thousand machines across its network.

The company has been operating in Poland since 1995 and is part of the Austrian café+co International Group. Its services are increasingly supported by telemetry and other digital tools that enable remote monitoring of machines, stock levels, and maintenance needs.

Challenge

Сafé+co Delikomat was preparing its Polish organization for the rollout of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The local teams had no prior experience with SAP, so the project required more than configuration support. Employees needed practical guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to understand the new processes and prepare for day-to-day work in SAP.

At the same time, the company needed to align and optimize business processes across several SAP functional areas:

The rollout also had to address Polish localization requirements and align local processes with the broader SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementation.

Solution

LeverX supported café+co Delikomat throughout the Polish phase of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition rollout. Because the local teams had no prior SAP experience, LeverX combined functional consulting with practical knowledge transfer, helping employees understand SAP standard functionality and best practices, aligning business processes, supporting Polish localization, advising on relevant configuration options, and delivering workshops and user training.

Business process alignment

LeverX quickly gained an understanding of the client’s business requirements. Working with the Polish teams, the consultants reviewed local business processes, aligned them with standard SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition processes, and applied relevant SAP best practices. The team also supported process optimization, adapting existing ways of working to the new SAP environment.

This work covered the main business functions included in the rollout, helping establish a consistent process foundation before go-live.

Polish localization and configuration guidance support

The project also required adapting the rollout to the needs of the Polish organization. LeverX provided functional support for Polish localization and advised the client on relevant SAP configuration options.

LeverX also supported the adaptation of global processes to the business and regulatory requirements of the Polish organization.

Workshops and knowledge transfer

Because the local teams had no previous experience with SAP, user enablement was an important part of the engagement. LeverX conducted workshops and training sessions and provided ongoing functional guidance to help employees understand SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition capabilities, standard processes, and how they would apply to their day-to-day work.

Knowledge transfer was embedded throughout the project to help the Polish teams build practical SAP expertise and reinforce their understanding of the new system.

Go-live preparation

LeverX completed its planned scope for the current project phase and helped prepare the Polish organization for the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition rollout. The team provided functional guidance, knowledge transfer, workshops, and training to support the transition to the new SAP environment. The next phase, including the Polish go-live and subsequent stabilization activities, is planned for spring 2027.

Results

With the Polish organization still in the pre-go-live stage, the results achieved so far focus on rollout readiness, process preparation, and user enablement rather than on post-go-live business KPIs.

  • Local teams prepared for SAP adoption: Through workshops, training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing functional guidance, employees across key business functions built the practical SAP knowledge needed for go-live and day-to-day work with the new system.
  • Business processes prepared for the new SAP environment: LeverX helped align and optimize processes across finance, sales, materials management, warehouse management, production, and plant maintenance, creating a solid foundation for the upcoming rollout.
  • Planned scope delivered for the current phase: LeverX delivered the planned scope for the current phase and prepared the Polish organization for go-live.
  • Positive client feedback and planned project continuation: café+co Delikomat confirmed its satisfaction with LeverX’s functional expertise, collaborative approach, and quality of support and recommended LeverX as a trusted SAP consulting and implementation partner.
