Dr. Benjamin Blau is the Chief Process and Information Officer (CPIO) of SAP SE and reports directly to Sebastian Steinhaeuser, Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Board at SAP SE.

In his role as CPIO, he represents the Corporate Processes & Information Technology organization as a trusted advisor and is responsible for the development and implementation of SAP's process and IT strategy. Benjamin's focus is on ensuring his organization acts as a digital backbone and strategic enabler for SAP's cloud transformation through technology innovation, process excellence, and data strategy, while promoting accountability and autonomy.

Benjamin joined SAP in 2010 and held various executive and leadership positions with a strong track record in process management and business transformation. Prior to becoming SAP’s CPIO, he led a team of 2,500+ employees as SAP’s SVP, Head of Industry Product Engineering. Benjamin graduated with a PhD in economics and a master’s degree in information systems management.

focused and forward-thinking leader, David is known for fostering trust, empowering
diverse teams, and delivering results that create lasting value.

David holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a
bachelor’s degree in international finance from American University.
