Client and Challenge
A construction machinery corporation that produces and sells construction machines needed to eliminate data silos and create a single, centralized source of product information. Product distribution and related documentation were stored across multiple geographic locations, which made it difficult for teams at one site to access data owned by another. As a result, collaboration between facilities was slower and less efficient.
Solution
LeverX implemented SAP Product Lifecycle Management (SAP PLM) to centralize product information and improve document management across the enterprise. To extend PLM capabilities and support engineering collaboration, LeverX added CAD integration and SAP Engineering Control Center (SAP ECTR), enabling more consistent handling of engineering data and processes in an SAP environment.
As a next step, LeverX will implement SAP Visual Enterprise Generator and Integrated Process Solution (IPS) to expand secure data sharing and ensure that the right stakeholders receive the right information at the right stage of the business process.
