FAQ

How does a forward-deployed engineer service differ from ordinary staff augmentation?

Contractually, the model works as staff augmentation: you pay a monthly fee for a named person and set that person's priorities. The difference lies in the person and the terms. You interview senior, certified engineers; a replacement is available in the first four weeks, and handover and documentation are part of the work.

Which SAP setup do we need to start?

A typical fit is an organization running SAP S/4HANA in SAP Cloud ERP or SAP Cloud ERP Private through RISE or GROW, or on-premises. SAP BTP should be available or planned for work in extensions, data, and integration. If you are still on ECC, mention it in the first call, and we will say whether an engineer fits your stage.

What do you need from our side?

One person who sets priorities and reviews the work, has access to your SAP tenants, and completes your security onboarding. Work begins once onboarding is finished, and the start date is agreed upon with you for each candidate.

Can the engineer use AI-assisted tools?

Engineers use AI-assisted engineering tools under LeverX engineering rules, and only where your policy allows it. If your policy excludes them, the engineer works without them.
