Technical management (Basis and cloud operations)

In RISE with SAP, infrastructure is managed by SAP, but system behavior is not. Daily stability depends on how the application layer is operated. While SAP manages the Hyperscaler, LeverX manages Basis-related activities, system monitoring, performance analysis, and coordination with SAP on infrastructure-related incidents. This keeps the SAP Cloud ERP Private landscape stable under real production load.

Functional support (application management services)

Most production issues are functional, not technical. They appear in business transactions, master data, and process variants. What levels of support do you provide?

We cover L1, L2, and L3 support for the S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition application layer. L1 handles user inquiries, L2 resolves functional and process issues, and L3 addresses complex incidents, including custom code and integrations. Each level is managed with clear escalation paths and service metrics.

How flexible are your service packages?

Managed services are not fixed bundles. Scope is defined by system size, business criticality, and operating hours. Services can be scaled up during peak periods (such as closing or major releases) and reduced when demand is lower.

How do you handle SAP upgrades and release cycles?

RISE with SAP follows different release models, depending on the edition. In SAP Cloud ERP Private, major upgrades follow SAP’s defined long-term maintenance cycle and are not mandatory every year. In Public Edition, quarterly updates are applied by SAP. We assess the impact of each release on custom objects, integrations, and business processes. We then perform testing, configuration adjustments, and regression validation to stabilize production environments.

How do you ensure regulatory and audit compliance in the cloud?

Cloud infrastructure is managed by SAP, but regulatory responsibility remains with the client. We monitor access control, segregation of duties, and configuration settings. Our team ensures readiness for audits while maintaining day-to-day system usability.
