Some conversations take place at defining moments — the moments that blend the personal and the professional, the reflective and the forward-looking. This is one of them.

In 2025, LeverX continues to grow across markets and regions, but the upcoming opening of a new office in Riga, Latvia, stands out. It’s not just another location on the map; rather, Riga holds a special place in the story of LeverX and in the life of Dr. Victor Lozinski, its Co-founder and Chairman of the Board.

Leadership Profile: Dr. Victor Lozinski

Dr. Victor Lozinski

Dr. Victor Lozinski, Co-founder and Chairman of the Board at LeverX, is a seasoned expert in enterprise applications and software engineering and is known for his commitment to technological excellence.

He founded LeverX in 2003 from his Silicon Valley apartment. Today, the company is a global Systems Integrator with offices in 11 countries and a team of about 2,000 professionals across three continents, and it supports clients in North America, LATAM, MENA, Europe, and Central Asia.

Dr. Lozinski holds a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree from Riga Technical University and a Ph.D. in Robotics from both Riga Technical University and the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany.

Fluent in four languages, he brings a global perspective to the company’s leadership.

After two impactful decades in Silicon Valley, he led the strategic relocation of LeverX to Miami, Florida, in early 2023. Dr. Lozinski and his wife now live in Miami and are proud parents of two sons.

Riga: A Strategic and Personal Milestone

On March 11, 2025, the company established the “LeverX Latvia, SIA” legal entity and opened a new office in Riga, Latvia's capital and the place where Dr.Victor Lozinski, Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of LeverX, was born and raised.

Riga is where Victor’s journey began — and now it becomes the starting point for a new chapter in LeverX’s story.

“I am proud to announce the opening of our new office in Riga, Latvia — a significant milestone in our ongoing development of a SAP-focused technology hub in the Baltic and Nordic regions,” Victor says.

“This strategic growth not only strengthens our partnerships with existing Latvian clients but also positions us to build new, long-term relationships in the region.”

The significance of opening a new office in Riga also encourages reflection. To understand why this moment matters so much — not just personally to Victor as a Latvian-native, but strategically — we need to look back at how LeverX began and how it grew into the company it is today.

LeverX’s Expansion: From SAP PLM to a Full-Scale System Integrator

The origins of LeverX’s journey are deeply tied to SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management). Given Victor’s background as SAP’s first product manager for PLM, it was only natural for the company to begin in this space.

“The name LeverX comes from the word ‘leverage’ — leveraging experience, knowledge, and expertise,” Victor explains. “The company’s early success was built on this philosophy: focus on deep expertise before expanding strategically.”

Over time, the company broadened its scope, moving beyond SAP PLM into manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and enterprise digitalization. A random pursuit of growth didn’t drive this shift; it was a deliberate response to market needs and the evolving challenges of businesses operating in the SAP ecosystem.

“What started as a highly-focused SAP consultancy grew into something much bigger,” he notes. “We expanded into multiple industries and service areas because we saw an opportunity to provide more value to our clients. By deepening our expertise, we naturally became a global system integrator.”

Today, LeverX defines itself as ‘the most local global system integrator.’ This dual identity — global scale with localized expertise — has become a defining advantage. The company maintains strong regional operations across Europe, North America, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia, ensuring it can serve clients with solutions tailored to their business environments.

The Strategic Move from Silicon Valley to Miami

A major decision in LeverX’s expansion was the relocation of its headquarters from Mountain View, California, to Miami.

Silicon Valley had been an ideal location to launch and grow the company, offering access to talent, venture capital, and an unparalleled innovation ecosystem. However, as LeverX expanded internationally, the challenges of operating from the West Coast became more apparent.

“When you run a global business with a strong presence in Europe, time zones alone create a major operational hurdle,” Victor explains. “Nine hours to Germany, ten to Eastern Europe, twelve to the Middle East — it made real-time collaboration much harder.”

Beyond time zones, LeverX also had to consider its evolving customer base. Many of the company’s U.S. clients were concentrated in the Midwest and Northeast, making it impractical for them to travel to California for in-person meetings.

After evaluating multiple options, Miami emerged as the optimal choice — a decision that proved highly strategic.

“Miami provides the right business environment, access to international markets, and a more convenient location for both our U.S. and European customers,” he states.

Yet, despite this move, LeverX remains deeply committed to its presence in California.

“California is a powerhouse of innovation,” Victor says. “With a GDP of around $4 trillion, if it were an independent country, it would rank as the fourth-largest economy in the world.”

In the meantime, Florida — the heart of our current operation — has a gross domestic product of approximately $1.7 trillion, making it the 16th-largest economy in the world. That is, if Florida were an independent country, it would follow Australia and Mexico in the global ranking of countries by total nominal GDP. At that point, Florida would also qualify to be part of the G20 Summit.” Recognizing the strategic importance of both California and Florida, LeverX remains committed to supporting our clients from both locations, ensuring the company continues to be at the forefront of technological innovation.

The Foundation of Trust in LeverX’s Business Strategy

In an increasingly competitive business landscape, LeverX differentiates itself through one fundamental principle: trust.

“At the core of our business, we are selling trust — trust in our expertise, our ability to deliver, and our commitment to long-term partnerships,” Victor emphasizes.

Trust is especially crucial in digital transformation projects, where businesses rely on technology partners to drive critical operational changes. Unlike a physical product, where customers can assess quality instantly, digital transformation requires months or years to show results.

“Our customers are essentially making a commitment based on trust,” he says. “They give us their budget, and we promise to deliver a transformation that unfolds over time. That’s why credibility and proven expertise matter.”

One of the biggest mistakes Victor sees companies make is choosing a technology partner based purely on cost.

“We’ve had customers come to us mid-project, saying, ‘We started with another provider, but we’re stuck. Can you help us fix this?’ Fixing a broken project is always more complicated than getting it right from the start.”

In addition, some companies fall into the trap of misleading pricing strategies — selecting the lowest bid, only to realize later that unexpected change orders inflate costs beyond expectations.

“This approach rarely works in the long run,” he warns. “Real partnerships are built on transparency and long-term value.”

In Latvia and beyond, this approach shapes how LeverX builds new partnerships and maintains the existing ones. By establishing a strong local presence, the company reinforces its long-term commitment to serving the clients in the region — grounded in trust, expertise, and shared goals.

Looking Ahead: The Future of LeverX

2025 marks a significant year in LeverX’s journey — a year defined by meaningful milestones, strategic moves, and bold investments in global growth.

As the company strengthens its presence across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia, LeverX continues to evolve as a truly global system integrator. Each new location is a deliberate step toward broader reach, deeper regional expertise, and more personalized support for clients.

Earlier this year, LeverX opened a development center in Tbilisi, Georgia, and on June 3, we officially opened our new office in Riga, Latvia. More than a geographic expansion, Riga represents both a symbolic and strategic milestone.

This momentum is also reflected in LeverX’s presence on the global stage. In 2025, the company participated in the World Economic Forum in Davos, a moment that underscored its role in shaping conversations around digital transformation and enterprise innovation.

“When we started LeverX in 2003, I couldn’t have imagined that 22 years later, I’d be in Davos speaking about the future of technology and business,” Victor reflects. “It gave us the chance to step back, look at how far we’ve come, and recommit to where we’re going next.”

Investing in People and Knowledge

At the core of LeverX’s success is not only technology but also a long-standing commitment to people — empowering talent, nurturing curiosity, and sharing knowledge.

That’s why, in Latvia, LeverX is interested in actively investing in the local tech ecosystem — and human capital, creating new job opportunities for software engineers, DevOps specialists, business analysts, QA professionals, and other tech specialists.

“We’re providing new career opportunities in Latvia,” Victor says, “allowing professionals to grow locally while contributing to international projects.”

He also adds,

“A company that stops hiring and training young professionals is a company that stagnates. We plan to actively collaborate with the major local universities such as Riga Technical University, business communities, and industry networks to develop the next generation of technology professionals. And we’re planning to do the same in Latvia.”

This initiative goes beyond talent development. It reflects a belief in long-term, sustainable growth, where business success is intertwined with community engagement, education, and access to opportunity.

Inspired by Mark Twain’s famous quote, Victor says:

“It is never the wrong time to do the right things.”

“For LeverX, the right thing is investing in education — helping students, professionals, and businesses grow,” he adds. “It’s not just about revenue or KPIs; it’s about contributing to the broader industry ecosystem.”

In addition to educational partnerships, LeverX is proud to support Latvia’s national digital transformation agenda through active collaboration with government stakeholders and public-sector initiatives.

Final Thoughts

Reflecting on the company’s future, Victor remains optimistic.

“With the right mix of resources, experience, and market presence, LeverX will be significantly larger in five years. We have every reason to be confident about our growth and impact.”

The opening of the Riga office is a meaningful step in this journey — a reminder that while LeverX grows globally, it never loses sight of the values and origins that shaped it. From Silicon Valley to Miami, from Tbilisi to Riga, every new location reflects a commitment not only to expansion but also to building lasting relationships, nurturing talent, and delivering innovation where it matters most.
