Miami, FL — January 15, 2026 — LeverX participated in the Regional Economic Committee (REC) Meeting, a joint initiative of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Miami Office.
The REC convenes a select group of Miami-Dade business leaders for off-the-record discussions with Federal Reserve economists. The goal is to gather hyper-local economic insights that help inform Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta President, Raphael Bostic, and contribute to national forecasting through the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC).
This session featured Paula Tkac, Executive Vice President and Director of Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. As the primary monetary policy adviser to President Bostic, Ms. Tkac shared expert perspectives on:
- Current monetary policy direction
- Interest rate and inflation outlook
- Market reactions to economic shifts
- South Florida-specific factors, including immigration policy and international trade, and their impact on national forecasts
For LeverX, participation in forums like the REC reflects our commitment to staying closely connected to regional economic dynamics and contributing to meaningful public-private dialogue. These conversations provide valuable context for understanding how macroeconomic trends influence business strategy and technology investment decisions.
We appreciate the opportunity to engage with fellow business leaders and Federal Reserve representatives on issues shaping both the local and national economy.
