From June 7 to June 24, the annual SAP SAPPHIRE Now conference took place. The participants received valuable information on the digital transformation of business. Traditionally, SAP presented its new products and updates to the existing solutions.
We are sharing with you the most important announcements of this conference.
Presentation of a Business Network Solution
At the conference, the company's CEO unveiled SAP Business Network — a cloud-based collaboration solution that helps to gather disparate supply chains into a single, intelligent, barrier-free network with data centralization.
The SAP Business Network comprises the Ariba Network, the SAP Logistics Business Network, and the SAP Asset Intelligence Network, enabling you to connect with your trade partners through a single catalogue, collaborate using shared data and workflows, and leverage network-wide insights to make onboarding decisions and improve business processes.
The solution is expected to result in the creation of the world's largest business community with more than 5.5 million organizations.
SAP continues to help businesses transform into sustainable enterprises by optimizing their material, financial, and energy flows.
To this end, the company presented two products. The first is SAP Product Footprint Management, which will offer customers a transparent look at the carbon footprint of their products.
The second solution — SAP Responsible Design and Production — contributes to the recovery of natural systems and more efficient use of limited resources. It is possible through the minimization of production waste, use of products and materials for longer periods, and application of SAP cyclical principles.
The SAP Concur service now will have a new Verify feature that identifies issues and irregularities in reporting and spending using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
The function can approve expense reports if they are free of errors and inconsistencies. In case some are found, the report is sent to auditors for verification.
SAP Product Footprint Management and SAP Responsible Design and Production will be available in Q3 and Q4 2021.
SAP Upscale Commerce
SAP has launched its No-code online commerce solution — SAP Upscale Commerce. It will help retailers create omnichannel shopping experiences in minutes, as well as use AI for the delivery of personalized offers.
SAP Upscale Commerce integrates with SAP S/4HANA and uses a headless API architecture.
New Features of SAP Analytics Cloud
SAP Analytics Cloud introduces operational analysis and workforce planning. In addition, it can now integrate with SAP SuccessFactors solutions to consolidate operational, financial, and human resources data, allowing the company to better understand its people.
