Community Involvement

At LeverX, we understand the importance of giving back and making a difference in our local communities. That is why we’re pleased to support the following local non-profit organizations. These organizations provide positive and enriching experiences for the community at large, and we are proud to lend our support. Please take a moment and visit their websites!

Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose

Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose inspires creativity, curiosity and lifelong learning.

Since opening in June, 1990, the Museum has welcomed over 5 million visitors and has offered new interactive exhibits each year that respond to children’s diverse educational needs. With the addition of the West Wing in 1997, the Museum expanded its size by twenty percent.

One of the largest museums of its kind in the nation, CDM’s 150 interactive exhibits lead visitors to explore, understand and enjoy the world in which they live.

Los Altos Mountain View Aquatic Club

LAMVAC is a year-round swim club based in the cities of Mountain View and Los Altos in California. We are known for an individualized approach to every swimmer, easy access to coaches and board members, as well as camaraderie among swimmers and parents. We are an entirely parent-run club, which makes us distinct from the City of Mountain View’s recreational swim programs.

We understand that swimmers swim for different reasons: some want to swim fast, others want conditioning, and still others want to join a friend. Our core objective is to foster in every swimmer a life-long love of swimming. We do this by acknowledging these differing individual objectives.

The IACKids was started in 2012 in an effort to give back to families in Upstate New York going through financial hardships due to their child’s severe illness. While the top priority is being with their child and managing their medical care, the financial burden associated with long term hospitalization often adds an incredible amount of stress. When children are seriously ill, parents want to be with their sick child as much as possible and because of that they sometimes lose their job because of time away, be forced to reduce their hours, or take unpaid medical leave. During this time, they still have to manage their lives as they did prior to their child’s illness; their other children, home, monthly bills, and so much more. As contributing members of our society it is important to give back to those in need, and the Italian American Coalition for Kids was assembled to do just that. It is the IACK’s goal to empower our community to give back to these families in need so that they can concentrate on their child’s illness and not worry about falling behind financially.
